Zirconia Venus, made with the newest generation of TOSOH powders, is the latest evolution of Orodent multilayer Zirconia. With the highest translucency (49%), Venus is the ideal product for single crowns, reduced bridges and inlays.
We use exclusively certified TOSOH powders because they guarantee the highest purity and the best manufacturing standards in terms of eco-friendliness, strength and aesthetics.
Orodent Venus 850 MPa, thanks to its excellent aesthetic features and high translucency (49%), is perfectly suitable for the front part; nevertheless, its flexural strength of 850 MPa allows its use for reduced bridges, too.
Orodent zirconia is pre-sintered at a low temperature in order to provide an easy-to-process material that wears tools down to a minimum, thus extending tools’ life.
Its 49% translucency guarantees an excellent aesthetic result in all shades.
Orodent Venus 850 MPa is available in 3 colours and 3 thicknesses.
Orodent Colorodent Gold and SuperColori lines also allow the infiltration and characterisation of all types of multilayer zirconia before sintering.
Orodent Venus is designed and made with 4 colour layers and a single flexural strength of 850 MPa, from the neck to the enamel.
It is the ideal material for restorations which accurately reproduce the colour and features of natural teeth.

Orodent Multilayer Discs can be infiltrated and characterised with Colorodent Gold and SuperColori liquid lines. After sintering, the structure can be finalized using stains mixed with glaze.
In order to obtain the exact shade desired, it is necessary to consider that the result will depend above all on the thickness: the thicker the structure, the less translucent and bright it will be.

Full elements will result more saturated, therefore in a darker colour. In these cases, we suggest to choose a less saturated shade than desired and finalize with stains after sintering.
Orodent Venus 850 MPa is the ideal material for highly aesthetic restorations. Based on your needs, you can choose among monolithic solution, cut-back technique or microstratification.
All Orodent discs, manufactured entirely in Castelnuovo del Garda, are pre-sintered at a low temperature for better workability.
Pre-sintering in this way allows to have the material in the chalky state (not vitrified) offering important advantages:
Sintering is the fundamental step in the entire process. It is during this phase that the zirconia acquires all its properties of translucency and flexural strength.
Orodent has developed 4 sintering programmes that must be chosen according to the thickness of the prosthesis, not on the type of zirconia: in particular, the heat treatment must guarantee homogeneous heating between the inner and outer layers of the prosthesis to obtain a uniform and three-dimensional shrinkage, paying particular attention to prostheses with elements of different thicknesses.
