EOS zirconia disc is ideal for making highly aesthetic structures while maintaining strength and safety.
With its four colour layers, EOS has got a progressive flexural strength ranging from 900 MPa in the enamel to 1100 MPa in the neck area.
Thanks to its translucency (from 45% in the neck to 48% in the enamel area), it is possible to make high aesthetic value restorations.

Orodent zirconia is pre-sintered at a low temperature in order to provide an easy-to-process material which wears tools down to a minimum, thus extending tools’ life.

Orodent Multilayer Discs can be infiltrated and characterised with Colorodent Gold and SuperColori liquid lines. After sintering, the structure can be finalized using stains mixed with glaze.
In order to obtain the exact shade desired, it is necessary to consider that the result will depend above all on the thickness: the thicker the structure, the less translucent and bright it will be.
6 thicknesses: 12,14,16,18,20,22 mm
Full elements will result more saturated, therefore in a darker colour. In these cases, we suggest to choose a less saturated shade than desired and finalize with stains after sintering.

Sintering is the fundamental step in the entire process. It is during this phase that the zirconia acquires all its properties of translucency and flexural strength.
Orodent has developed 4 sintering programmes that must be chosen according to the thickness of the prosthesis, not on the type of zirconia: in particular, the heat treatment must guarantee homogeneous heating between the inner and outer layers of the prosthesis to obtain a uniform and three-dimensional shrinkage, paying particular attention to prostheses with elements of different thicknesses.
